Do you need access to my inbox?

Not always. Some clients prefer to provide full access, while others forward emails or share only what is necessary. The level of access is agreed during onboarding.

Do you provide HR services?

The Helpful Desk Co. provides HR administration only, such as distributing contracts, maintaining staff records, and onboarding assistance. Legal or advisory HR services are not included.

How does bookkeeping support work?

Bookkeeping is carried out using cloud software such as Xero or QuickBooks. Any required subscriptions remain the responsibility of the client. Services cover routine bookkeeping tasks such as reconciliations and invoice processing.

How are invoices and payments approved?

Approval processes are tailored to each client. Some choose to pre-approve all work, while others set agreed limits. Clear procedures are established during onboarding.

Can you work with businesses outside of Haverhill?

Yes. All services are delivered virtually, allowing support for businesses across Suffolk and throughout the UK.

What happens if my needs change?

Packages can be adjusted, or ad-hoc support can be added when required. The service is designed to be flexible.
